About the Club

Clovelly Country Club is on the other side of the mountain from Westlake, and it's a meandering but attractive drive along the False Bay coast to reach it.  Travelling from Cape Town, you have to allow yourself a fair bit of time to get there, because you're tempted to stop on the way.  Clovelly is a lovely, quiet valley near Fish Hoek.  Like Westlake, it's not a long course, but some holes are tight, and accuracy brings it's rewards.  Clovelly's grand clubhouse is one of the best in the Cape, built on a ridge overlooking the course.

Here you are close to some of the more picturesque parts of the Peninsula, to Simonstown and Kommetjie, and you can return to Cape Town via the impressive Chapman's Peak Drive, Hout Bay and the Atlantic Seaboard, with numerous distractions along the way.
